Stackhouse's special designated modules of foam are formed to function as the best pit system available on the market. This concept consists of a blend of foam densities to provide a functional foam core for both comfort and safety. Base unit's sides and bottoms are made with tough 18 oz-reinforced vinyl, coated on both sides for longevity. The top of each base pad is made with a vinyl coated mesh breather fabric, which allows the air to be expelled upon impact. Each base pad is designed to channel the air compression through the foam system, slowing the deceleration of the athlete to provide a comfortable landing. Stackhouse uses heavy duty webbing handles, double stitching and nylon non-oxidizing zippers on every model and size. All stitching is performed with a strong nylon thread, all snaps sewn on base pads to match the 2' top pad.
