2003 Syrah Walla Walla Valley

Dark purple with magenta edges, with intense aromas of black cherry, spice and pine. Hints of black olive, violets and grilled characters are emerging. Full-bodied structure, abundant in fruit by mouth and varietal Syrah characters, enhanced with sweet oak undertones and a balanced structure.

2002 Merlot Oakville Estate

A sensational meld of mocha, black cherry liqueur, smoke and blackberries.This fleshy Merlot, which will drink well for the next 6 to 8 years, is full-bodied, with great density, focus, moderate acidity and an unctuous texture. The finish is long and alluring.

2002 Woodward Canyon Merlot

Deep red color, ripe bing cherry, and subtle chocolate mocha flavors. Vanilla spice and cream notes from new barrels is noticeable, but not over the top, and the finish is long and generous. With proper cellaring this wine should be enjoyable for six to eight years.

2001 Vioginer

This wine is a 34% / 66% blend of Marsanne and Viognier, two white Rhône varietals that thrive in California's Central Coast. All of the fruit is purchased from the Mer Soleil Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands, just south of Monterey Bay. The marriage of these two varietals highlights the tropical notes found in both grapes, and gives the wine a lush, cohesive palate of exciting flavors.

2003 Dashe Cellars Zinfandel

This is a black raspberry and chocolate bomb of a wine. Dark, brooding, and delicious, this is a great example of a ripe, warm weather zinfandel. It has the classic velvety mouthfeel of a Dry Creek zin and a long, luscious finish that leaves the raspberry and chocolate flavors lingering in your mouth long after you swallow.

2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles

The wine is dark purple with a surrounding outline of cherry red. Aroma’s of black cherry, currant and vanilla jump out of the glass. A soft, delicate entry is woven into a long intense palate that features flavors of blueberry, cassis and a touch of spice. Supple, ripe tannins with a hint of chocolate hover on the finish.

2002 Chardonnay Rhinefarm Vineyard

Aromas of tangerine and pineapple, with hints of stony, mineral scents, dominate the nose. On the palate, the 2002 Rhinefarm Chardonnay is elegant and round, with sweet and sour lemon, key lime and pineapple flavors, and a supple, creamy texture. Excellent acidity and balance culminate in a focused, fruit-driven finish.

2003 Edge Cabernet Sauvignon

2003 Pinot Noir

On the nose, sweet dark ripe raspberries, violets, fresh spices, lavender, hints of oak and cassis emerge after the initial blast of fruit. As the wine enters the mouth a sweet lush entry leads to an integrated succulent attack. Harmonious ripe tannins lift the wine and add great balance to the copious fruit. Good ripe acidity for structure in the wine pulls the wine together gives it great length.

2004 Foris Pinot Gris

Very bright stone fruit and mineral aromas are immediately noticeable. Flowery, bright fruit on the palate with a broad mid-palate mouthfeel. Dry, but lushly fruited. A crisp acidity kicks in at the end carrying the flavors through a lingering finish echoing the original aromas of intriguing minerality. Wonderful balance.

2002 Syrah Lake County

This is a very flavorful and accessible style of Syrah. Light to medium body and without significant tannins is easy to enjoy with or without foods. We like to serve this wine at picnics, barbecues, or any summer gathering. Serve with a steaming bowl of seafood stew or a nice plate of pasta with Marinara sauce.

2004 Sauvignon Blanc

The Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, crisp wine with plenty of bright, lively fruit. It has notes of fig, melon, gooseberry and a hint of honey. On the palate, this “lip-smacking good” wine shows fresh grapefruit, gooseberry and tart lime, with a generous, crisp acidic finish. Great with Park Place Restaurant’s Mediterranean Pasta Salad, summertime finger-foods and grilled goat-cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon.
