Product Description 100% Combed Ringspun Cotton Tee. Features: 100% combed ringspun cotton, 6.0 oz., shoulder-to-shoulder tape, rib collar, double needle throughout. From Babiesrus.com & Amazon.com Editorial Review Want a humidifier that not only produces a cool mist but looks cool as well? The transparent blue tank of this attractive, elliptically shaped humidifier allows you to see remaining water at a glance. This model draws air through a wet wick, creating a fine mist and no floor wetness. The wick will trap impurities from the air and water and needs replacement once or twice per season. This unit has three settings: off, low, and high. Low is sufficient for average rooms and is quieter than the spinning models, while high is louder. The 1.2-gallon capacity can last up to 12 hours. Filling the removable tank is an awkward endeavor, since it does not lie flat (it'll stay upright, but wobbles). The Natural Mist Humidifier takes up 18 inches of floor space and stands 10 inches tall. It comes with a three-year warranty. --Trilby Cohen Product Description Filter impurities from the air--naturally! The Vicks Natural Mist Humidifier features natural evaporative action for cool, healthful mist; a 1.2-gallon capacity; two-speed control; 12 hours of operation per filling; and a removable tank for easy filling. The invisible vapor leaves no white dust. It has a large opening with an easy-to-grip cap and a whisper-quiet fan that won't disturb your baby. Safety Information CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Carefully supervise young children when the vaporizer is operating. This unit produces hot steam and could cause burns. My 5 month old has had a cough so bad it was making him throw up. Two nights ago (before the purchase) he had stayed awake almost the enitre night. Last night he slept great--9.5 hours with only waking up once. I turned the humidifier on the high speed which is loud, but this is a child who falls asleep to the vacuum cleaner. I have to say the room got cool but it sure helped a ton. Also it ran for 10 hours and still had water left, but we also have good water here in Memphis so I guess the length of time it runs has to do with the water condition. It was also very easy to open and fill with water. I love this product already. Was this review helpful to you? I have to say that the humidifier DOES work and has helped with my sinus issues a great deal. It does not consume a lot of water if used on the low setting and basically does a good job. The only drawback is that it can be loud. On the low or medium setting, the motor itself isn't loud, but the water tank gurgles VERY loudly throughout the night. We have on two fans in our room at night (one ceiling and one stand fan) and we can STILL hear the gurgling noises. For the first week or so, it woke up me a good bit, now I'm able to sleep through the night a bit better because I'm used to it. Still, I wish it were quieter and that the water reserve was more quiet. I won't use this for the baby when she arrives this summer. Was this review helpful to you? It works great. There is no white dust and when filled completely, I think it could run for 24 hours straight (depending on the speed). There are 3 speeds to choose from and the slowest one is very quiet, however, the fastest one is pretty loud. We keep it on the middle one and it acts as a white noise machine which we don't mind. When we moved our son to his own room, we bought a cheaper $20 Vicks model and were so disappointed with it, we threw it out. It not only spit water and was noisy, it created that awful white dust that ruins mirrors and glass. This humidifier is wonderful and very easy to clean., it's worth the extra $20. We ended up buying one for our room, too! Was this review helpful to you? We've had many occasions when a humidifier was necessary, and we've tried MANY different ones. This VICKS brand humidifier is by far the easiest to fill, clean, and replace filters on. It also has 3 speeds and a turn off switch which allows for preference settings and easy -on/off; no reaching for a plug. I would recommend this cool mist{no heat}humidifier to even adults. This will be a must-give for baby showers, as it's a gift that can be used for YEARS! Was this review helpful to you? But otherwise, it looks exactly the same. I bought it for my son when he was only a few months old. He's now 2 years old. I think it's a great humidifier. Sure it's not that quiet when it's on high, but honestly, it's no louder than a summer fan on high. Not really loud enough to bother me or him from sleeping (I have a smaller version of one in my room). It works as a great white-noise maker. In a smaller room, it sounds louder. Again, no problem. Sure, the filter does get mildewy every few weeks (if you run the humidifier to dry the filter out often, it can last up to a 3-4 weeks per wicking filter), but after reading reviews of many other humidifiers and humidifier brands, it seems like that's a very common problem that is not unique to this humidifier or humidifier brand. There are of course, other much more expensive humidifiers (like the care-free ones) which require less maintenance and only once-a-year filter change, but I guess it's all a matter of how you want to spend the money; not so much at first and a lot over the course of a few years OR a lot at first and not so much over the course of a few years. FYI, I only got one for myself recently (last month). I have to say, before I got one for myself, my son got sick less often than I do even though I'm a stay-at-home mom and he goes to a two-day-a-week nursery school, and when he does get sick, he gets over it very quickly. I bought the humidifier last month when I got strep throat that didn't heal after the first round of antibiotics. As soon as I got the humidifier, I started healing...even before I started taking my second course of antibiotics. I used to think this whole thing about humidifiers helping out with colds and respiratory infections was all in the head, but now I'm a believer. Was this review helpful to you? Mist comes across to me as a romping Borges - by this I mean it is full of ideas and creative, as is Borges, but Miguel De Unamuno seems to have the almost girlish exuberance of the Spanish while the Argentinan stays more alof and academic. Contemporary philosophy normally involves a trained vocabulary and historical understanding, but De Unamuno manages to make this an interesting story and throwing in bones for us to ponder. I often found myself pausing and chewing on my lip, lost in thought. Oh, and how I laughed! At one point the absent minded main character has fallen is asleep and is called to dinner by his servant.
